We say this with unbiased opinion, and best interest of your flowers and your safety. While flower preservation may appear like a fun DIY, we highly suggest not attempting preservation on special flowers with no prior experience. Please be advised, that over the years we have received many bouquet re-make requests sadly due to flowers being ruined at home, or sent to someone claiming to be a professional. Complications can include mold, flowers falling apart, rotting, burning, or worse if not safely handled. To safely work with resin requires proper PPE, and lots of practice which is costly and time consuming in the long run. Please, trust in the experts.
Our new method of using high quality UV resistant resin has proven to be the best way to resist mother nature's natural aging process of flowers over the years. Botanicals in resin will maintain thier shape, and possibly color, for generations.
Although we use only the highest quality of UV resistant resin, it will eventally turn yellow or take on an amber "vintage" glow. Yellowing is hardly noticeable from the front of your art, but may be seen from the side views. If this is a concern, we suggest selecting our beautiful artworks featuring a black backgrounds which intentionally reduces if not eliminates the appearance of yellowing.
